What you have found are true treasures in the real sense. It is not the price tag that goes with it but it is the message or the symbolic element which you can extract from them. Relics of the past such like these carry a history in themselves. The wagon depicts the early settlers struggle in their newly found land. Countless stories and anecdotes could be written with just one piece of art. More so,  what you have found belongs to the "endagered specie" in the folk art world. It is originally crafted by hand. And to create this, one should have that inspiring heart and dedication. Most of these kinds  are now manufactured in mass production with the aid of technology thereby losing the human touch and value.

 
I am sharing you one of my few remaining "art piece". This one belongs to the "endangered specie" as well hence i already stop painting. This is an old birthday card I painted 20 years ago. (message inside : "I may not always say i love you, but i love you always.....")
