Remember the Nelly Furtado article I published a few days back?*..Well, on the Monday issue of the METRO , a Toronto daily newspaper, Miguelita and I saw her photo on its front page. So she did really come here for a fund raising concert, not just to visit her daughter's dad.
She performed at the ELGIN one of the Broadway style theatres that usually show concerts, Christmas specials and similar events..Toronto has its own Broadway live theatre strip.
She raised about $500,000 that Monday night for Gilda's Club Greater Toronto, a cancer support support group. The concert was called IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING.
